Dr. Natasha's GAPS App Privacy Policy

Dr. Natasha's GAPS App ("we", "our", "us") is a diet tracking application developed by Medinform Limited. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use Dr. Natasha's GAPS App on iOS, Android, or the web.

Important: Dr. Natasha's GAPS App is a dietary tracking tool, not a medical application. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a healthcare professional before starting any diet program.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information:

• Email address (for authentication)
• Display name and profile information
• GAPS diet stage and preferences

Diet Tracking Data:

• Food logs and meal entries
• Dietary compliance records
• Symptom notes (for dietary correlation only)
• Supplement and detoxification tracking
• Bristol stool chart entries

Technical Data:

• Device type and operating system
• App version
• Crash reports and performance data (via Firebase Crashlytics)
• Anonymous usage analytics (via Firebase Analytics)

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the diet tracking service
• To sync your data across devices
• To display your dietary compliance and progress
• To improve app performance and fix bugs
• To send important service notifications

We do not use your data for advertising, sell your data to third parties, or share your dietary information with anyone.

3. Data Storage and Security

• Your data is stored on secure servers hosted on Railway (cloud infrastructure)
• All data transmission uses HTTPS/TLS 1.2+ encryption
• Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication (Google)
• Database access is restricted and password-protected
• We do not store payment information

4. Third-Party Services

Dr. Natasha's GAPS App uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase Authentication — User sign-in and account management (Firebase Privacy)
• Firebase Crashlytics — Crash reporting to improve stability
• Firebase Analytics — Anonymous usage patterns
• Railway — Cloud hosting for backend services
• RevenueCat — Subscription status and purchase confirmation (RevenueCat Privacy)

5. Purchases and Subscriptions

Payment is handled by Apple or Google. When you subscribe, you pay through the App Store or Google Play using the payment method on your Apple or Google account. We never receive or store your card details or other payment information.

RevenueCat. We use RevenueCat, Inc. as a service provider to confirm your subscription with the store. RevenueCat receives the purchase information the store provides (such as the product, transaction identifiers and the purchase and expiry dates) together with your Dr. Natasha's GAPS App account identifier. It does not receive your email address or your diet tracking data. RevenueCat's handling of this information is described in its privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy

What we store. To give you access to the app, we store your subscription status (for example active, in a free trial, or expired), which store you subscribed through, when your trial or current billing period ends, and when your subscription last changed. We also keep a record of each subscription notification we receive (its identifier, type, store and time) so that a notification delivered twice is not applied twice.

How long we keep it. Your subscription status is kept while your account is active and is deleted with your account. The notification records described above are kept after account deletion, with the link to your account removed. RevenueCat and the store keep their own records under their own policies.

Cancelling. You can cancel at any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. To stop being charged, cancel it with the store as well.

6. Data Retention

• Your account data is retained as long as your account is active
• You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time
• Upon account deletion, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days, except as described in Section 5.
• Crash reports are retained for 90 days

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Export your diet tracking data
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account

8. Account Deletion

To delete your account and all associated data:

• Open the app, go to Settings, tap "Delete Account", then tap "Delete My Account"
• Confirm the deletion
• Or email us at the address below

9. Children's Privacy

Dr. Natasha's GAPS App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email. Continued use of Dr. Natasha's GAPS App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
